• Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe: For payment processing
• OpenAI: Bet slip images are sent to OpenAI's API for analysis. OpenAI's data usage policies apply
• Brevo: For sending email notifications (daily picks, receipts)
• The Odds API / WeatherAPI: We send team names to retrieve odds, injury, and weather data. No personal information is shared

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing)
• JWT-based authentication with expiring tokens
• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse
• Optional two-factor authentication (2FA)

5. Cookies & Local Storage

BetrSlip uses browser localStorage to store your authentication token for seamless login. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

6. Email Communications

Pro subscribers receive daily pick emails by default. You can manage your email preferences in your account settings or unsubscribe at any time. We will never send spam or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and analysis data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., payment records).
